Allowing Student Internet Account Access
Description In some schools (predominantly in Austalia and New Zealand) students are required to type their username and password in order to access the internet. As a result, Symphony Math is not able to contact the Symphony Learning servers in its default configuration. An error message, many times "-1203: internet library error", prevents the program from continuing.
Solution
  1. Start the Symphony Math program.
  2. At the Settings panel, click the 'Network Settings' tab on the right side of the screen.
  3. Ensure that the 'Use Proxy Server' and 'Ask for Username/Password Each Use' checkboxes are checked.
  4. Click 'Save'.
