Preparing for a New School Year
Description The Symphony Administration Panel provides tools to quickly prepare your school roster for the new school year. The instructions below assume that your school used Symphony Math in the previous school year.
Solution
  1. Log in to your Administration Panel as the Account Administrator.
  2. Remove all students from their assigned classes:
    1. Click the 'Classes' tab.
    2. Click the top checkbox, which will select all classes.
    3. Select 'Remove Enrollment' from the 'More Options:' dropdown menu.
  3. Reset all students' progress from the previous year:
    1. Click the 'Students' tab.
    2. Click the top checkbox, which will select all students.
    3. Select 'Reset Progress' from the 'More Options:' dropdown menu.
  4. Promote all students to the next grade:
    1. Click the 'Students' tab.
    2. Click the top checkbox, which will select all students.
    3. Select 'Promote to Next Grade' from the 'More Options:' dropdown menu.
  5. Delete any old students from the 'Students' tab.
  6. Add new students individually from the 'Students' tab or in a group from the 'Import' tab.
  7. Optional: Assign students to classes in the 'Classes' tab.
