v4.05	Release Date: January 25, 2010
	Resolves intermittent screen centering issue reported on certain Windows XP workstations. Fixes reported bug in Multiplication/Division tasks when attempting to represent "divided by 0". Adds improved hinting and feedback to Fractions content (Stages 12, 14,1 15, and 17). Fixes reported bug in Fractions Stage 17 with comparison of improper fractions. Addresses reported issue of occasional dropped audio during Mastery Round sequences.

	Fixes mastery round errors reported from versions 4.0 and 4.01. Includes all fixes from versions 4.0, 4.01, and 4.02.

	Adds improved hinting and checking for stages 14,15, and 17. Fixes bugs with Story Problems in stages 15 and 17. Performance increases and reliability checks for student records saving. This is an important feature for setups with wi-fi or intermittent internet outtages.

	Fixes bug that allowed students to continue in program past teacher-defined session duration. Fixes bug in Stage 14, 15, and 17 that prevented progress for certain students. Corrects intermittent creation of illogical fraction comparisons in Stages 15 and 17. Improves reliability of student record-keeping in error conditions, such as dropped connections in wireless networks.

	Fixes errors when District account information is entered. Fixes errors with large (> 500) student lists at the signin screen. Fixes errors in Stages 12, 14, 15, and 17 with fractions content.

	A new User Interface ("Look and Feel") is introduced throughout the entire Symphony Math program. Students now branch through Stages of program. Each stage represents a set of concepts organized around a central idea, such as 'Number Sense' or '1s, 10s, and 100s'. New branching rules allow students to progress more quickly to their level of challenge. New content: Introduction to Fractions, Unit Fractions, Non-Unit Fractions, and Improper Fractions. NOTE: Spanish and British English directions for fractions content are not included in this release, but will be included for the final version 4.0 release on July 6, 2009.

	Fixes intermittent issue with access to mastery round in Multi-Digit Addition and Subtraction module. Fixes issue in Multi-Digit Addition and Subtraction module where subtraction problems involving same-numbered place values trigger incorrect judging of student solutions. Fixes multiple messages that alert the user when no internet connection is detected.

	Corrects a branching issue that prevented Multiplication/Division module from appearing if Place Value module was completed in full. Addresses intermittent crashes on OS X version issue with UI controls.

	Addresses screen centering on certain Windows machines. Addresses issue of narration of Story Problems causing intermittent crashes on OS X machines. Fixes issue in Multiplication/Division Module that judged incorrectly structured number sentences as correct, such as "5 x 5 x 25", instead of "5 x 5 = 25".

	Fixed issue with session time limits saving daily progress (this did NOT affect student records). Added 'Quit Program' button to the Demonstration Controller.

Improved automatic updater included in full downloaded release. Many small fixes and improvements to all modules.

	Fixed bug at end of Multiplication/Division module that prevented finishing of module. Small fixes to Place Value module. Adds function to make passwords optional during student signin for school users. Standardized help in Modules 1-4. The last level of help is now a demonstration of the correct solution. Increased time limit of mastery round in Place Value module to allow for more 'shots on goal'. Resolved bug at main menu where some modules were not available. Fixed inconsistency with Division story problems. Program now asks for home or school login during first-time setup. Home logins bypass student list and present password at signin screen. This supports multiple-student homes much better than previous program versions. Settings=>Computer Settings: Automatic updates are now optional (default is on). Settings=>Computer Settings: Beta content can be downloaded automatically (default is off). Settings=>Network Settings: Added option to request username/password for proxy server login each time Symphony Math is started. Ensured proper licensing checks during student use.

	Fixed issue with number facts reporting for Student Daily Performance report. Minor bug fixes to Multiplication/Division module. Revised branching system so that Place Value module is available to students earlier, and appears before Multiplication/Division module in menu.
